Meeting of the Board held on Thursday November 22, 2018 at the Hon. Hilly Ewing Building, Providenciales
At this meeting the Board of Trustees:
Were informed that discussions are underway for the NIB’s 2017/18 external audit
- Staffing Matters
Confirmed the Selection Committee’s meeting to conduct interviews for the HR & Administration Manager and Database Administrator positions on December 3, 2018.
Updated on various opportunities of staff training that took place during the period under review. These included:
- IFRS Training
- Strategic Performance Management Training
- Customer Service Training
- Risk & Compliance
Received updates on the development of the NIB Risk Management Framework
Received and accepted the Acting Director’s Report for October 2018
Received and accepted the Financial Controller’s Report as at October 31, 2018
Received and accepted the Investment Manager’s Report for October 2018
Informed of Management’s intention to have online Banking in place during the first quarter of 2019.
Received information from the IT Department on virtualizing NIB server network systems in its Grand Turk and Providenciales offices.
