Who We Are
The Turks and Caicos Islands National Insurance Board (NIB) is a statutory body of the TCI Government and the sole provider of social insurance benefits to persons gainfully employed in the Turks and Caicos Islands. We serve employees, self-employed persons, and voluntary contributors between the ages of 16 and 65, along with their dependents and survivors.
Since our establishment in 1992, the NIB has grown into one of the TCI’s most important institutions, safeguarding the financial wellbeing of our people through nine distinct benefit programmes that cover retirement, sickness, maternity, workplace injury, invalidity, death, funeral expenses, survivors’ support, and disablement.
We operate four offices across the islands, with our Head Office in Grand Turk and branch offices in Providenciales, South Caicos, and North Caicos, ensuring that every resident has access to the services and support they are entitled to.
